Cranberry malt loaf

Measurements and contents.

  • 300g Shipton mill self raising flour
  • pinch of salt,50g butter or/marg,2 eggs,125 milk
  • 50g caster suger,4 tablespoons malt extract,


  1. Grease one 1k loaf tin,line with paper,mix flour salt and sugar in a bowl.warm malt butter and cranberries in a pan (gently).When melted add to dry ingredients slowly mixing in to make a soft dough.2/.Spread in tin, bake for about one hour at 160c 325f or gas test metal skewer to come out clean.
