1 1/3 cups Spelt Flour
1 cup Light Brown Sugar
1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Line parchment paper in 9 x 9 inch square dish
Sift the spelt flour and cocoa powder into a mixing bowl and add the light brown sugar, baking powder, salt and mix together.
Add in the melted vegetable oil and vanilla extract and water stir it into a thick batter.
Add the chocolate chips and stir into the batter. The batter will be extremely thick.
Spoon the batter out into the square baking dish and smooth down with the back of a spoon.
Place into the oven and bake for 20 minutes
