Cheese Chive and Chilli Bread


500g white flour

5g instant yeast

10g salt

320 g water

250g coarsely grated cheddar

2g chilli flakes

handful of chopped chives


Mix all the ingredients together (machine works best as quite sticky) for 10 minutes on low speed or knead by hand for 10 mins. Leave until doubled in size.

Split dough into two (large) or 4 small loaves ...shape and prove for another 45 minutes to an hour.

Bake in hot oven for about 30 - 40 minutes. Enjoy the delicious baking aroma !

I know it's tempting ...but wait until cool before eating. Yum.
