250g self-raising flour
1tsp baking powder
40g sugar
60g butter
120ml milk (plant-based of your choosing)
1. mix together dry ingredients
2. add your cold butter, adding in cubes makes it easier to mix together
3. Using your finger tips, press the butter into the dry ingreient, till they resemble fine breadcrumbs
4. add the milk gradually until the mixture comes together
5. refridgerate for 30mins
6. remove from fridge and press out till about 1 inch thick
7. using a cutter of your choice cut out 6 scones
8. bin excess or press together for off cuts
9. bake for 15mins at 200 degrees
