500g Strong white Bread Flour
1.5 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Turmeric Powder
2 tbsp Thyme
1 tbsp Dried yeast
1 tbsp lemon juice
335ml water (300g by weight)
Thoroughly mix the flour, turmeric, thyme and the salt together.
Add the dried yeast then quickly stir into flour mixture just before adding the liquid.
Add the lemon juice to the water and add to dry ingredients.
Knead for about 10 mins.
Cover and leave to prove till double in size.
Knock back and shape into preferred sized rolls.
Place on a suitable baking tray for about 20-30 mins or until double in size.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 15-20 mins depending on oven type
