Tea, Raisins and Cinnamon Sourdough Bread


400gm Bread Flour

250-300mls Water

1/2cup Sourdough Starter

1½ tsp Salt

2 tsp Maple Syrup

4 oz Raisins

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

11/2Tbsp Oil( of your choice)I used Olive oil

1 teabag- (I use decaffeinated as I normally drink this .)


1. Weight Flour ,Cinnamon,Maple Syrup, Oil,Salt, into a mixing bowl

2. Add Tea water into the Starter make sure it is lukewarm now

3.Add water to the mixed dough and start machine with a dough hook. make sure it picks up all the flour I use no 2-3 through out the mix and mix it until it reaches it right elasticity. it should take about 8-10mins.

4. Once done add raisens give a quick mix with 1 mix should do. You dont want it mince raisens. :0)

5. prepare an large oiled bowl , shape your dough into a ball. and place it into the bowl and cover it.
