Ingrediences:
- 1/2 tsp Yeast
- 250g strong white flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 25g butter
- 1 tbsp milk powder
- 1/2 tsp Sea salt
- 1 medium egg
- 100 ml water
For topping:
- 50g raisins
- 50g walnuts
- 50g soft brown sugar
- 1 tsp mixed Spice
- 30g butter to melt
Method:
Put all the ingrediences in order above and knead. Use program for basic dough.
At the meantime mix together the rasins, chopped walnuts, sugar and mixed spice in the bowl.
Roll out the dough to an oblong 10"x8", Brush the surfice with melted butter and spread prepared mixture from the bowl on the top.
Roll up and cut with sharp knife into pieces. Put them into the greased sandwich tin or rounded tray and brush sides which are in contact with each other in the tin.
Allow to prove at 40 C/105 F within 25 minutes.
Bake in preheated oven at 200C/Mark7 for 15-20 minuts until golden brown. After few minutes cooling down put plate over the top and turn the tin out.
