Ingredients:
- 1 onion
- 1 cup boiled lentils (1/2 dry)
- 1 1/2 cup boiled rice (brown/red best) or 3/4 dry
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp allspice
- salt and pepper
- frying oil
To serve with:
- cranberry sauce
- potato puree
Method:
- Dice onion finely
- All the ingredients hand-blended together into a thick paste
- Taste and add more salt/pepper if required
- Wash hands, cover them with some oil and form small balls using the paste
- Heat the frying oil to high temperature on a frying pan
- Fry for 4-6 mins turning frequently
