Sourdough Tortillas


300g water

50g starter

350-400g white flour

10g salt

50g (or less) melted butter


The night before, mix the first 4 ingredients. Dough should be pretty wet, kind of like Crepe dough. Let sit on counter overnight. (Or if you don’t have time for this, mix 4 or more hours the day you are going to make)

In the morning, or a few hours after mixing if same day, add melted butter. Let sit until 30min before your mealtime.

Heat skillet to med-high. Pour about 1/4 into pan and spread with a spatula. Cook on inside until slightly crispy, flip to finish other side.
