Scottish Bran Scone with Shipton Flour

Bran Scone ,

  • 8 ounce of Shipton organic self-raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon caster sugar
  • 3 tablespoon of Shipton oatmeal organic 
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 ounce butter
  • 7 fluid ounce milk

sieve all dry ingredients into bowl

mix in butter with a fork

use as much milk as required to make a soft dough

shape into rounds

score into quarters

bake on 170 Celsius

for 30-35 minutes
