Pizza base

175g plain soft flour (white or mix with a bit of wholemeal)

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon dried yeast (breadmaker type)

1/2 teaspoon caster sugar

1 tablespoon olive oil

90ml hand-hot water

I put all the ingredients in the breadmaker, and use the pizza setting (approx 45 mins). Once done, roll out the dough on a floured surface to the size and shape you desire. Spread on whatever topping you like (we often use pesto, onion, tomato, olives and whatever veg we have in the house). Bake in an oven (200 degrees C) for 15 mins or to the desired end result.

I often also double/triple up the ingredients and freeze batches. Simply defrost, roll out etc.
