Nutty French Farmhouse

This recipe produces a full flavoured soft textured lightly malted white loaf with nuts.

I use a Pansonic Bread maker with the option to produce a french style loaf.

Add 1 teaspoon of dried yeast to the bread maker pan

Add to a mixing bowl:

30g Shipton 5 seed blend

70g Shipton Organc Light Malthouse Flour

300g Shipton Finest Baker No 1 White Bread Flour

30g Pine nuts

20g Cornflakes

Half teaspoon salt

15g salted hard butter (chop into small pieces)

Mix the ingredients thoroughly.

Pour the mix into the breadmaker pan.

Add 310ml of water.

Select the french bread programme and cook for 6 hours.
