Light and savoury soda bread

Makes two square loaves

250 grams white self-raising flour

250 grams wholemeal self-raising flour

500 ml plain, runny yoghurt

250 ml whole milk

250 ml water (you might not need it all)

2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

2 tsp sea salt

1 tsp sugar

zest and juice of one lemon

ground black pepper (omit if preferred)
