Breakfast Baton

500 gm Shiptons 3 Malts & Sunflower Flour

14 gm fresh yeast

7 gm salt

2 tblsp runny honey

250 - 300 gm water

14 gm vegetable shortening

1/2 mug of oats

warm milk to cover oats

handful of cranberries

Mix flour, yeast, salt and shortening into a bowl. Put oats into a microwaveable bowl and pour over milk to cover. Microwave for approx. 1 minute ( 800 watt) until milk is warmed through. Alternatively, warm milk up on hob and pour over oats and let stand for a few minutes until cool. Add water to dry mixture to bring together, add oat mixture and honey. and adjust water content to form a soft sticky dough ( much like a sour dough mixture). You can add more or less water to
