100% Light Malthouse Loaf

1kg Light Malthouse Flour

570ml (1 pt) Water

70g Honey

1 tbsp Salt

30g Oil (Vegetable, Sunflower, Groundnut or Rapeseed)

2 tbsp Easy Blend Yeast

Add wet ingredients to bowl. Add flour and allow 30 minutes to soak before kneading.

Add salt and yeast and knead for 10 minutes.

Rise for 1-1.5 hours.

Knock down and rest for 10 minutes.

Shape and put in tin/s.

Prove for 1 hour.

Bake 40 mins, remove from tin/s and return to oven to crisp for 5 mins.
