This is the type of bread I love to eat and the best versions I have had are from local boulangeries in France or fine dining.
I followed Chris Hollister''s sourdough recipe as demonstrated on the Shipton video using Shipton Mill white bread flour and stoneground wholemeal flour. I bought the starter but am now planning to experiment to make my own starter and different loaves. Foreign travel is not on the cards right now because of COVID19 but working from home means I can be around to do the hands-on to the dictates of the dough. All I need now is my Shipton delivery....
