Fig, spelt and pumpkin seed loaf

I threw my breadmaker out when I retired and had the time to use my hands, but I used your recipe as a base. I added a little more yeast, honey to feed the yeast and it produced a wonderfully aromatic loaf. I always liked spelt for toast and thought this would be ideal, but strangely it is better cold, buttered and partnered by strong cheeses or to balance a fresh crab sandwich.

Breadmaker fig, spelt and pumpkin seed loaf.

Nice recipe but this is a completely overpriced and pointless product. Figs only add a gritty sweet texture, spelt makes a tasteless bouncy bread. Dont waste your money

Fig, spelt and pumpkin seed loaf

This made an excellent loaf in my bread maker (Panasonic). Made lovely toast.
