We are open for flour Mon-Fri 08:00-17:30hrs and every Saturday 08:00-16:00hrs.
We are closed on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Mill tours are conducted by John Compton, one of our millers, on the morning of every third Saturday throughout the year. If you would like to take a tour of the Mill please contact the office for dates and booking. Please note - tours at other times are difficult to arrange since we are a working Mill and day-to-day it is a busy place.
We are situated on the road (B4014) joining Tetbury and Malmesbury, just outside the village of Long Newnton.

We are down the track. We are not the farmhouse on the main road although we share the same postcodes on satnavs. Our neighbour gets extremely upset by people arriving in their farmyard. If lost please give us a call on 01666 505050.
However if you put the postcode into Google Maps it will give you correct directions or see detailed directions below.
If you are attending a Baking Course (other than the Wood Fired Baking which takes place at Tetbury) please follow the directions to our Frampton Mill site provided in your course joining instructions.
Proceed towards Tetbury until you reach the county border sign ‘Gloucestershire/Cotswold District’.
A short distance further on you will see a big blue square sign just after a lay-by on the left. At the start of the lay-by is a single large ivy covered old tree and just before the tree is a rough track. Turn down this track and Shipton Mill is at the bottom – offices to the left.
Proceed towards Malmesbury, passing through the village of Long Newnton, and past the turning to Charlton on the left. A short distance further there is a lay-by on the right with a single large ivy covered old tree at the end of it, at the end of the the lay-by is a rough track. Turn right down this track and Shipton Mill is at the bottom - offices to the left.
Leave at Junction 17, signposted to Chippenham and Malmesbury. Take the A429 to Malmesbury, and then the ring road to Tetbury (B4104). Please see ‘Travelling from Malmesbury’ above.
FROM THE NORTH
Leave M5 at Junction 11a, signposted towards Cirencester. Take the A417 into Cirencester. From Cirencester follow the A433 towards Tetbury. Then either go into Tetbury and follow ‘Travelling from Tetbury’ above or take the left turn to Long Newnton – follow lane to T junction in village – turn left and look for the lay by mentioned above.
FROM THE SOUTH
Leave M5 at Junction 13, signposted towards Stroud. Take the A46 Heading towards Bath then turn off on to the A4135 towards Tetbury. Please see ‘Travelling from Tetbury’ above.
