"Lammas Fayre" Stoneground Wholemeal flour is milled from a unique blend of over 150 heritage wheat varieties developed by Heritage Harvest and grown at Broadfield Farm, Tetbury, Gloucestershire......

As in medieval times, this crop is genetically diverse and well adapted to local growing conditions. Resowing each year with farm-saved seeds preserves and enhances the crop's genetic diversity, making it hardier than modern, single variety crops and better able to adapt to climate change.

By choosing this flour you are helping to preserve biodiversity for future generations.

The grain is stoneground to make a delicious all-purpose flour, rich in bran and wheatgerm, which is ideal for artisan baking.

How should I store my flour and how long will it keep?

Ideally flour should be kept in a sealed container in a cool dry place with stable temperature. Typically white flour has a shelf life from milling of 12 months. Wholemeal flour will be good for 6 months. More ...
