This is a sour dough cheat, tasting enough like the real thing that it slows down the two-legged mice living with me who prefer and wolf down "normal" bread.
500g strong white bread flour
7g or 2 level tsp dried yeast
1 tsp salt
300-350g plain unsweetened yoghurt
This is a normal recipe, just with yoghurt instead of water, so mix, adding enough yoghurt to make your preferred texture of dough (I like a slack, moist dough, so add lots of liquid), knead, prove, shape, rise and bake as usual.
