
A spicy festive, quick bread which uses the Heritage Blend Stoneground Wholemeal Organic flour
This is a very easy, no yeast, quick bake recipe for sweet or savoury soda bread that can be easily adapted for various dietary requirements and responds well to whatever additional ingredients or flavours that you want. It also lasts extremely well.
Ingredients
200ml milk (or non dairy milk)
150ml full fat yoghurt (or non dairy alternative)
250g Irish soda bread flour
250g Khorasan flour (if savoury) 250g organic fig, spelt and pumpkin flour (if sweet)
50g oats
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
1/2tsp salt
30g butter/non dairy spread
Method
Savoury bread: 100g grated courgette or carrot, then any choice of goat's cheese, mixed herbs, walnuts, chorizo, sundried tomatoes
Sweet bread: chopped dried apricots, raisins, 100
