Simple 50:50 breadmaker recipe

Ingredients

300ml luke warm tap water

230g Spelt Wholemeal flour

230g strong white flour

1tsp sea salt

1bsp granulated sugar

1tsp olive oil

1.5 tsp yeast

(1) Add water to bread pan

(2) Add the olive oil

(3) add the flours and then all other dry ingredients

Method

Place bread pan in the breadmaker.  I use the Kenwood rapid bake and use setting 6 - 3 hrs 20 mins which is wholewheat large rapid

 

I had to experiment a bit with the combinations of the flours but this works everytime and has been a lockdown family favourite
