7 inch baking tin

Ingredients

Dry

Plain Flour 4 oz/113 g

Oats 6 oz/170 g

Ground Ginger 4 teaspoons

Baking Powder 2 teaspoons

Wet

Milk 1 tablespoon

Dark Sugar 6 oz/170 g

Butter 4 oz/113 g

Mollases or dark treacle 4 oz/113 g

Golden Syrup 4 oz/113 g

Eggs (beaten) 2

Method

Mix together all dry ingredients

Place Butter - Sugar - Golden syrup - Mollases in a saucepan, and melt together on very gentle heat

Now stir in all dry ingredients

Then, stir in Milk and Eggs

Add the mixture to a lined (SILICONE PAPER) 7 Inch Baking Tin and bake for 1hr 30 mins to 1hr 40 mins

FAN OVEN 140 °C
