Emmer Wheat Halva

Delicious sweet dessert made from flour,ghee, jaggery and water.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup emmer wheat flour

1/2 cup ghee

1/2 cup jaggery

1 cup water

 

Heat ghee in a saucepan on medium/low flame, then add emmer wheat flour and stir continuously until it changes colour and gives off an aroma, at which point add the water and jaggery. Keep stiring until the halva reaches the desired consistency and starts to come away from the sides of saucepan and release ghee. Remove from cooker and leave to cool down, Best served warm. 

Total time 5-10mins.
