Delicious vegan pancakes - they taste just like traditional pancakes made with egg and milk!
We use 3 Shipton Organic flours in our pancake mixes but you can use their plain wholegrain flour for this recipe :
Cinnamon bun swirl pancakes
200g wholegrain flour
2 eggs
200ml milk
60g sugar
butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4tsp nutmeg
1tsp baking powder
For the pancakes:
Weigh the dry ingredients together then whisk in the wet ingredients.
For the swirl
Make a caramel melting a nob of butter with 60g golden caster sugar.
Add a lsmall knob of butter to another frying pan and once melted add a large spoonful of pancake batter
Carefully swirl the caramel sauce into the batter whilst cooking the pancakes on the pan. flip after 90 seconds and serve golden brown. Why not try with a dollop of cream cheese for extra indulgence!
