Knock your socks off CHOCOLATE NUT BROWNIES
200g dark chocolate, chopped(preferably 60-70% cocoa content)
250g unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup soft brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup Shipton Mill Soft Pastry and Cake Organic White Flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/3 cocoa powder
dash of salt
100g chunky chopped walnuts, hazelnuts or combination.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Melt chocolate and butter slowly over low heat. Cool slightly.
Add sugar, eggs, flour, bp, cocoa, salt and nuts
Pour into 9" square greased cake tin.
Bake 30-35 minutes until set or until desired stickiness.
Cool and serve.
Makes about 24 small pieces or one large brownie for a very greedy giant!
