The simplest cake you ever made. This time I have added choc chips to the cake mixture, usually we spread it with nutella or other chocolate spread.
Ingredients:
4 bananas (I usually use these that are starting to get brown skin)
75g unsalted butter melted
3/4 cup of sugar - this is from original recipe, I just add 2 vanilla sugars which are 16g per bag so 32g in total and we do not like cakes that are too sweet
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1 and 1/2 cup of flour (used soft cake and pastry but any white will do)
dark chocolate chips - optional (used whole bag from Asda)
Food processor is not required.
In a bowl using fork mash the bananas, add melted butter, sugar, egg and vanilla, salt. Mix everything together.
Add flour mixed with baking soda, combine all ingredients. (At this stage you can add choc chips)
Place the batter in cake tin (10x20cm) oiled with butter and dusted with flour.
Bake 50-60 min at 170 C degrees.
enjoy!
