Instructions
Put all the ingredients into a chopper blender together and pulse till mixed to a firm dough,takes about a minute!
Roll out on a floured board to about 3/4" thick. Cut out with a 2 1/2"scone cutter, makes about 6 scones. Brush tops with milk & sprinkle with a little sugar.
Place on baking tray and bake at 200c for about 12 min`s Leave to cool on wire rack.
Cut in half and spread with jam, cover jam with clotted cream. More than one is being piggy!
Ingredients
- 9 oz`s s.r. flour
- pinch salt
- 1/2 ts`p baking powder
- 1 oz sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 dessert spoons plain yogurt
- 4 oz`s butter
- few spots of vanilla extract.
If you like currants in your scones, add them when you're rolling the dough out,not before!
