Wheat Free Bread
INGREDIENTS
500g Wheat free flour
10g Salt
525ml Water
15g Fresh yeast or 7.5g dried yeast
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 190 C/370 F/Gas mark 6.
2. Mix the ingredients to a thick, creamy consistency.
3. Place in a tin which is twice the volume of the mix and stand for 15 minutes at ambient temperature.
4. Bake in the oven for 1 hour.

With wheat sensitive daughters I use a mixture of white spelt, wholemeal spelt and light rye. That seems to make a pretty decent loaf

Hi Fiona. I like the sound of the mix of flours you mention - would you mind posting on this site what proportions of the three flours you use (and any other ingredient or method variations to the above recipe that you follow) when baking your bread? Thanks

Bread machine review
Quantities: as per recipe Settings: Put on a basic rapid setting. Comments: The result showed there was too much water in the recipe. The loaf naturally did not rise much. You could try adding medium oatmeal to give the loaf a bit of volume. Verdict: Good starting point, but needs more experimentation
