Buckwheat flour (416)
Buckwheat flour is flour ground not actually from a wheat, but from a plant closely related to rhubarb or sorrel.
The seed of this plant (Fagopyrum esculentum) is milled to form rich nutty flour, often slightly speckeldy. It is gluten free but whilst we are very careful when we mill each type of flour, we do use the same millstones and therefore we can not say that ours is definitely Gluten free, as there remains the possibility, however small, that our flour might contain tiny amounts of wheat or Rye flours.
