Organic Wheat Free Flour (415)
Our wheat free flour is made from specially blended barley, maize, rice and millet flours. The barley and rice flours help to produce a delicious nutty flavour. Ideal for baking cakes, biscuits, pastries and pancakes it is less suitable for bread making.
A Cautionary Note about Allergens:
This flour is not gluten free since barley (like wheat and rye) contains gluten. Whilst we are very careful when we mill each type of flour, we do use the same millstones for all our flours and thus there also remains the possibility, however small, that our flour might contain tiny amounts of wheat or rye. Whilst it may therefore be tolerable for those with slight wheat sensitivity it is not however considered suitable for those with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance.
